Hi I’m a newbie Mechanical Engineer from Turkey,

I’ve started to work in a company that bending sheet metal. They have their own calculation system. They’re doing it on SolidWorks somehow.

Now I’ve an Excel file of my own. My question is; Do you guys using the actual thickness or nominal thickness for your calculations? For example .8mm can be .69-.85 without the PVC. For now I’m using the nominal thickness .8. I’ve got good results. But I want to make it better. Can you guys help me out?
